What is Microdermabrasion?
This bio-brasion hydra dermabrasion facial treatment smooths the skin and exfoliates using a multi-degree wet/dry diamond tipped crystal free wand. Frequency of Treatments:
Initially 3 to 6 treatments spaced 12-30 days apart are recommended for most people. Acne scars and or discolorations may require more treatments. Monthly maintenance treatments every 2 or 3 months may be necessary to maintain results. *Complimentary consultation is reccomended.
Is Microdermabrasion safe? Microdermabrasion is a safe and common procedure. Unlike laser resurfacing this procedure is not traumatic and therefore there is no downtime to allow for healing and recovery. But, as always, provide your full medical history and follow your pre and post-treatment instructions. Are there any Microdermabrasion contraindications?

What to expect after a Wet/Dry Bio-dermabrasion treatment? Mild pinkness or flush of the skin is the desired outcome and usually resolves within minutes to hours after microdermabrasion. In addition, mild exfoliation, flaking or dryness may occur as well, continuously apply moisturizer after treatment is important. Patients may also experience a sunburn like sensation for up to a few days. Moreover, liberal application of sunscreen is recommended as photosensitivity may be increased after treatment. Once the discolored skin has flaked off newly evenly pigmented skin will surface.
